I made macarons for the first time last...Way to go! I made macarons for the first time last month-twice-and the second time was much better than the first. I made them for Chocolate with Francois (Payard) and he suggests the Italian meringue method because the meringue is less finicky. Don't get me wrong, they're still temperamental little brats but manageable.<br /><br />Yours look phenomenal!
